This Privacy Policy explains how Bhakti ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website https://bhakti.shronix.in and our Android application Bhakti — Bhajan Sangrah (package com.shronix.bhakti) (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

You can browse and read most content without giving any personal information. We collect the following only as needed:

• Account information (optional). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, Google account ID and profile photo from Google. Sign-in is only required to save favourites, create lists, add notes and submit content.
• Content you create. Bhajans you submit (title, lyrics, poet, category, YouTube link), images you upload (including images used for text recognition/OCR), notes, lists and favourites.
• Janm Kundli / astrology details. When you use the Kundli, Kundli Milan, Prashna or Panchang features you enter birth details (name, date of birth, time of birth and birth place / location). These are used only to compute your chart, matching or panchang on our server and to generate the on-screen result or PDF. We do not sell these details or use them for advertising.
• Device & usage data. App version, device model and operating-system version, IP address, approximate location (to show the correct panchang, festivals and place lookups), and basic diagnostic/usage information to keep the app working and to improve it.
• Notifications. If you allow notifications, a device notification token so we can send devotional and app updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service (login, favourites, lists, uploads, kundli/panchang, notifications).
• To review and moderate content submitted by users before it is published.
• To display advertisements and to keep the Service free.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and to improve features and content.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• Google Sign-In — to authenticate your account (governed by Google's privacy policy).
• YouTube — bhajan videos are embedded from / opened on YouTube, which is operated by Google.
• Advertising partners — the app and website may show ads; ad partners may use device identifiers/cookies to serve and measure ads.
• Service providers — hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality.
• Legal — where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of users.

4. Advertising

To keep the Service free we may display advertisements. Ad networks (including Google) may use cookies and advertising identifiers to serve ads based on your activity. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings, and manage Google ad personalisation at Google Ads Settings.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your account information while your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time — see our Account & Data Deletion page for how to request deletion and what is removed. Kundli birth details are processed to generate your result and are not retained for marketing.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Authentication tokens are stored securely. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

7. Children

The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your choices & rights

• Access or update your profile within the app.
• Delete your account and data — see Account & Data Deletion.
• Turn off notifications in your device settings.
• Opt out of personalised ads in your device settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
